Biography
| Picking up the sake cup, I run my fingers over the smooth crystal. Gazing at the engravement on the side as I contemplate the words that I don't understand. It seems so fragile to hold, yet it has seen years of abuse. The many nights in the tea house it saw as it continually fell from grace. Tossed aside or across the room in bereftment or anger. Only to be gathered and clensed by the would be geisha as she weeps inside. My fingerprints now marring the once pristine surface, I see that it has fallen again. As I fill the modest vessel and drink from the empress, together we fall. |
